Spring Community Update & Volunteer Appreciation
Dear Resident of Carriage Homes At River Farm Homeowners Association Inc,
Dear Homeowners,
Spring has been a busy and productive season in our neighborhood! We wanted to take a moment to recap recent community efforts, recognize the incredible volunteers who made it all possible, and share a few important updates.
🌸 VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave their time and energy to improve our community this spring!
Pool: A huge shoutout to pool committee members Marianne, Carol Ann, Linda, Wendy, Billie Bob, and Galina for cleaning the pool, planting flowers, and getting everything ready for the season. Special thanks to Fred for saving the association hundreds of dollars on pool repairs; to Jamie for pressure washing the pool walkway; and to Galina, Vlad, and Linda for bringing and installing pine straw.
Front Flower Beds: Thank you to Galina, Carol Ann, and Aimee for the beautiful flower beds at the front entrance!
Neighborhood Cleanup: Thank you to the neighbors who organized the dumpster, to Lisa for generously providing her driveway, and to cleanup crew Galina, Nick, and Jacob for hauling community excess items.
📢 ANNOUNCEMENTS
Water Line Issues: The board received several complaints following the most recent water shutoff. It appeared that air buildup in the system combined with the absence of a post-repair flush has been contributing to ongoing issues with the water lines.
Roof Blowing at S. River Farm – June 17th: Roof blowing is scheduled for June 17th, weather permitting. Please note that debris blown from the roof will not be collected or cleaned up by the association. We ask that homeowners plan accordingly.
Pine Straw: Pine straw was installed at the entrance as part of our Greenwood contract. The association also procured and installed pine straw at the pool independently. Please be aware that the association does not plan to install pine straw at individual lots this year.
Townhome Owners Meeting – Save the Date: A meeting exclusively for townhome owners is scheduled for July 11th. Location and time are still to be determined — more details will follow soon.
